Lately, all my physic colleagues have been picking up on the themes of jealousy and people throwing shade. Normally this wouldn't be a very positive thing to focus on, but I know how we can track this in the astrology transits.

Let's see where this is coming from with the collective energy.

Astrology is interpreted with ancient myths. Knowing it well helps one become an extraordinary intuitive reader, as it gives you the capability of quickly understanding the energy archetypes. I have studied mythology since grade school and by the time I was done grade six I knew all the Olympian Gods and Titans. In University I took Greek and Roman Mythology and undoubtedly one of the most interesting ladies on the block are the Furies. Just their name is enough to get one interested. These three goddesses are Alecto (anger), Megaera (jealousy), and Tisiphone (avenger). Each of the Furies has a different role or a different crime that she hated the most, and this was illustrated by her name. Today, we will run asteroid Megaera and try to shine some light on her and talk about how low jealousy is on the vibrational scale of life.

This celestial body was named after the avenging spirit from Greek mythology. She is one of the three Erinyes (Furies), who bring retribution on those guilty of sins. Megaira in your chart can indicate a) who makes you envious, b) what drives you to get even with a person, c) why you feel the need to humble people, and/or d) what jealousy makes you do to others.

Sounds pleasant right? Not really, but with all things in life it's about balance and everyone has this signature in them, it just depends on how it is placed and aspected in one's chart. This will show you how a person may struggle with these feelings and actions more than others.

Right now she is sitting at 22 degrees Sagittarius. For the moment I ran this chart I used Placidus House system and at the time of this article she is in the 5th House. The 5H rules recreation, hobbies, children and sometimes shows playing with sex for fun and not commitment. It would be the house that would show us what we like to do going out with friends for leisure. Situations that could invoke jealousy or envy with some. The first thing I notice is she is in opposition to Sedna (which I will do another article specially on another day) but Sedna stands for betrayal in its most common interpretation. On top of this, she's in the 11th House. Which is ruled by Aquarius and stands for groups of people, mainly friends or organizations. This seems pretty simple from my eyes to put together. It's easy right now that people are picking up and participating in this energy. Cheating, allegiances changing, stolen job positions,  Fury over certain people together, Fury over who is sleeping with who. Envy over who is being perceived to win. With the opposition its sums up basic bitch betrayal and swiping behind peoples backs.

Well, I feel my job here is done and feel satisfied with this observation. It's also important to know that energy is fleeting and this won't be a long term transit. Jealousy is a natural part of life, but it's how you handle it as a soul.

If you google a vibrational chart, you will see that jealously scores lower on the scale than even hatred and rage.

That's bad.
