Kurt Cobain was born February 20, 1967, in  Aberdeen, Washington, USA and died April 5, 1994 in Seattle, Washington. He was an American rock musician who rose to fame as the lead singer, guitarist, and primary songwriter for the grunge band Nirvana. He was born at 7:38pm with a Rodden Rating of AA for his chart.

For how much I love Kurt, that was a boring intro.

I love him so much I actually go out yearly on February 20th to celebrate his birthday for him. He is definitely my husband. Today I will write him an article because I can't write him a song.

Here we go.

Kurt is a Pisces Sun, Cancer Moon and Virgo rising. Right away from the big three you can tell he was an artist with an emotional side. His natal Chiron (wound) is on his descendant axis point (relationships) So, he was vulnerable in that area and probably should have let Courtney Love go stalk Billy Corgan that night instead of hooking up with his demise.

Do I think she killed him. No. But today we will look at his chart and his transits at time to death to see if some mathematical sense can come from this.

I will also run his chart with mine for synestry and see why I have such an affinity for him. There must be an explanation.

Looking at his traditional chart with no asteroids yet, it is complex yet beautiful in aspects. Quite simply he has only 3 solid red lines of oppositions from his Uranus/Pluto conjunction on his ascendant (ac) over to his Venus/Chiron conjunction on his descendant (dc). This looks like someone drew a fat red line horizontally through the middle of a circle. He also has a kite pattern in his chart. The kite pattern in astrology is a specific configuration of four or more planets in a birth chart that forms a distinct kite-like shape. It's considered a harmonious yet dynamic aspect pattern, often indicating significant potential and a unique way of navigating life's challenges. My one teacher always says that a kite in a chart is a beautiful thing- once you get it off the ground. 

A few random things I'll note before I move on is that we should know what a venus/chiron conjunction means. Gemini says "This conjunction brings together the planet of love, beauty, relationships, values, and harmony (Venus) with the "wounded healer" archetype (Chiron). It's a potent combination that often highlights deep sensitivities and potential wounds related to these Venusian themes.  However, it also signifies a unique capacity to heal these very areas, both within oneself and in others."

It shows he struggled as a person with demons on and off throughout his life. He controlled and channeled it through his music and even though they weren't typical love songs, his music was healing to him - and others. Like me :) So his chart played out nice with balance at times in his life. He was meant to be for sure. The other two channeled aspects from looking is that I see when he passed he had spiritual protection with him as he transitioned. It also shows he was at peace. With  regards to how he died, or by who's hand? I'm not sure but in two spots I saw a pattern that it was something or someone from his past. And it was either just himself or a male. Imo, Courtney is out of the picture, but I do know that her chart wasn't good for him. He needed someone softer in life.

Today I will use asteroids Eros 433  (love/cupid), Psyche 16 (she's obsessed with Eros), Juno (soul mate), Vesta (what lights your fire), Bride (19029), Groom (5129), Boda 1487 (wedding), Talent (33154) and the Vertex.

Ok, see- traditional readings is a must to get the nuts and bolts. Adding in asteroids shows SO much more to the story. If you use asteroids, you need to know how to actually use them properly and I only pay attention to conjunctions within 1 degree orb. Every astrologer should know the orbit and speed of any object they use as well.

Adding in these asteroids and looking at his birth chart and the transits for the day he died - there was something going on with him and Courtney FOR SURE. I won't get into it all but perhaps they were fighting? Or perhaps he was heartbroken over a recent event. It shows he was working on a new and maybe hidden project that didn't have time to come to fruition. The day he died, mercury was conjunct his dc with his venus/chiron. So, the world cried with him and mourned him through his music.

Let's run his and I synestry chart real quick to end up.

Well, it doesnt look as if he would have been my husband in life, but his Eros (love/lust) falls on my mars (sex) and it looks like its between the 5th and 12th Houses, so we would have been good at sleeping together behind Courtney's back. His mars falls on my Pluto between our 2nd and 8th Houses and it shows he most likely would have spent dollars on me.

The last thing is that I've only ever seen this once before in my life, but his Pluto falls on my Vertex. It means his death changed my life from his music and legend from a fan level.

If we hypothetically met back in the day, it would have most likely been a rock star sex fueled fling that would have pivoted my life.

Probably why I think he's so fucking hot.
